Our therapists use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to help children learn functional ways to communicate, build social skills, and develop new adaptive skills. ABA is a scientific, evidence-based approach that examines how the environment influences behavior and identifies what motivates each child to learn at their best. Since every child is unique, treatment plans are individualized and designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Therapists provide support in the home, at our center, and in the community, working not only with the child but also with families, peers, and other adults to promote meaningful socialization and skill development.

 

Our therapists are highly trained and qualified. Each therapist completes 40 hours of training in ABA principles and evidence-based practices, undergoes a thorough background check, receives ongoing hands-on training, maintains CPR certification, and passes the national exam to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). RBTs work under the direct supervision of a BCBA or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to ensure quality care and consistent progress.
